Long Live Short Man
A man who suffers much from poverty and a man who also posseses political mind. " Nestor" (not in real name) spent much his time in selling Sweeptakes tickets in a Church of Davao City "San Pedro Cathedral". In the first pic, I saw this old rich man who bought tickets from Nestor. They are having the same age but different in size and stability. At first, I thought this rich old one reprimanded Nestor for selling at the church maybe which pushed me to take a shot. But, when I got near, this rich one bought tickets with " keep the change" offer. Most probably this rich old guy pitied Nestor as I what I feel too. The church keeps on preaching to help one another and eradicate poverty by means of extending our genuine services to the poor masses. But kumusta ang mga katulad ni Nestor na even according to him Priests don't even mind them even if they are blatantly suffering from coldness and warmness of the church's environment. Nestor has big anger to the government. He was coming from Mati Davao Or. after the according to him "top secret tragedy" in his life that sailed him to Davao as poor and alone old man. He really hates corrupt officials who he thinks "the voracious evils". One of my friends interrogated him and sad to say he is actually one of the most affected person and victim of our dying country under the hand of corrupt government!
it's sad to think na the govt officials in the phils are lying down on the bed of their money while the others suffer...haiz.. when will they ever change?
pero in a way, we have to be also open to both sides. let's face the fact na many people suffer from this because they don't help themselves. lahat inaasa nila sa ibang tao. Marmi namang ibang tao jan na may kapansanan and yet nagsstrive hard. kxe kung aasa tayo sa gobyerno, walang mangyayari saten. we should make our own strategies on how to live life and leave poverty.
