Potential Cyclone may head to Mindanao

PAGASA is monitoring the Low Pressure Area that is embedded now within the inter-tropical convergence zone (ITCZ) and may possibly head to Mindanao or to the North Taiwan. As of 8 a.m., the LPA was estimated at 580 km east of Hinatuan, Surigao Del Sur, If this LPA intensifies and would become cyclone, it will be named as Dante.

Last night, Davao City experienced heavy downpour that triggered flood. Residents in Matina were preemptively evacuated to avoid possible flashfloods.
As usual, flooding is an headache of the city while the people of Davao are hoping including this writer, for their leaders to seek solutions on this matter.This will not be healed overnight but at least, there is visible action. Serious and attainable action.
