Bomb Threat in Davao, after CDO and Cotabato

cities of Iligan, CDO, Cotabato, Pagadian, Zamboanga, DAVAO, Tacurong and Ozamiz. The letter came from a certain Prof.Darwin Manubag who posted this on https://www.facebook.com/groups/CityOfWaterfalls/.


It seems that the bombing happened earlier than Ramadan. Last July 26, Cagayan de Oro was rocked by an explosion after a still-unidentified person left an improvised explosive device concealed in a black bag in Kyla's Bistro. The deadly attack left 8 dead and 46 wounded.

Another bomb has exploded in Sinsuat Avenue Cotabato City 10 days after the CDO bombing ( Aug.5, 2013). The attack left 8 dead and 40 wounded.Most of the victims were motorists and bystanders. Watch the raw video shot by a netizen Andrew Sunga who considers himself as survivor. Andrew said he would have been one of the victims if it wasn't traffic while on his way home. In the video, a mother cries as she lifts her son who was hit by ricochets.

Based in the letter shown above, Pagadian is next to Cotabato. No one knows yet if this will happen or not. Kadayawan, as one of the biggest events in Davao City, will kick-off in August. So, everyone should always be alert and participate in any bomb awareness program by the government. I know, Davao will always be safe in cases like this so we will just pray that terrorism will not ruin the festival Davao will be conducting and the rest of Mindanao main places. That God may melt the hearts of these murderers.

Meanwhile, secessionists Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) was tagged behind the deadly CDO bombing. BIFF is a breakaway group of Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) whose members do not buy the idea of having a peace talk agreement with the Philippine government.

It has been reported that MILF, MNLF and ASG denied the said attack in CDO due to their incapability to operate in such area which investigators pointed out that BIFF is most likely behind the attack.

As an ordinary citizen, our responsibility now is to inform our relatives to take precautionary measures wherever they are heading to. Series of attacks have been successfully done in the above mentioned places. Keep safe kabayans. Remember, our faith to God is our strongest shield.
