Moments of Kadayawan Indak Indak sa Kadalanan 2011

Davao City' Kadayawan Indak Indak sa kadalanan 2011 started around 9am last August 20,2011 with cloudy sky and the 21 performers showed up the beauty of creativity of their street dance steps and unique choreography under the striking heat of the sun. But, heavy rains poured over the dance floor as the event was about to end.

Big prizes and surprises were pouring also as Mayor Sarah Duterte announced that the city government will give 10,000 pesos as bonus to all participants.

At the VIP stage, big fishes in the political arena also witnessed the grandeur of Indak Indak.Former senator Migs Zubiri and senator Chiz Escudero joined Mayor Sarah Duterte and greeted the davaoños.

THE CHAMPION

The Purok Sison Elementary school of Suralla South Cotabato has successfully defended their title as the Grand Champion in the open category of the Kadayawan Indak Indak 2011.The elementary students were so professional while performing their superb ethnic choreography donned with expensive costumes and accessories. The swiftness and the gracefulness of the performance together with their big props and the heart pounding beats made them champion and brought home the 300,000 pesos as grand prize.

2ND PLACER: Municipality of Sto.Niño South Cotabato (prize: P200,000)

3RD PLACER: Municipality of Isulan Sultan Kudarat Province (prize: P150,000)
