Zsa Zsa Padilla confirmed the death of her husband, the Philippine King of Comedy Rodolfo Vera Quizon "Dolphy". He passed away at age of 83 in Makati Medical Center.
I grew up watching Home Along Da Riles and followed all of his sitcom and movies. He never failed me to prove himself as the only king of comedy.
The legend who have portrayed many characters in Movies especially in comedy films. He was once a "Mani" (peanut) vendor in the public cinemas before his comedy skill was discovered.
His death has trembled not just in ABS-CBN but for the entire showbiz empire in the Philippines.
His illness, the Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, a complication in the lungs, caused a lot of complications in his vital organs that made him weak and finally has sent him to heaven.
