Red Hot Chili Peppers with their unplugged instruments during Super Bowl

Close up shot of RHCP bass Flea. Where is the cord?

Bruno Mars and The Red Hot Chili Peppers performed on stage during the halftime show of Super Bowl with their hit " Give it Away". They rocked the field with their instrumental intelligence and stage presence but what millions of viewers didn't notice were RHCP's bass and lead guitars didn't appear plugged in.

This trick made some netizens to react from what is to be one of RHCP's best performance on stage.

A photo of Flea, as shown above, playing his black bass guitar in a UCLA game last January and it is clearly connected to the speakers. Notice the cord.

While everyone is jumping on this photo, RHCP lead guitarist Klinghoffer plays his guitar that looks like not connected to any cord.

It may NFL's plan to do the 'lip-sync' but it failed to serve the purpose and instead RHCP looked dumb when photographers discovered it. My point is, organizers with RHCP could have plugged the cords in to somewhere just to make the rocking group's performance believable and we would not notice the pre-recorded tracks.

Thanks to Bruno Mars for his vocal prowess and his music by the way for it compensated everything. Anyhow, I am still RHCP's fan.
